It's been about a month since we last got any rumors or leaks about the Google Pixel 3 XL, but now that drought is coming to an end. One thing that is surely going to get mixed reactions from the fans is the notch, and yes, Google is all set to launch the Pixel 3 XL with a notch on top.
But we don't know much about Pixel devices unless Google chooses to disclose the information but then, there are leakers and various other sources from where, specifications, looks, and nearly everything that is related to a soon-to-be-launched device becomes viral on the web. The device will have a 64GB, 6GB RAM and 128GB, 6GB RAM variant powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Sure, Google could release a charging dock of sorts called that, but XDA has also found hints in Android P to a stand that wirelessly charges a device. The dock, as we learn, will not only offer wireless charging but also turn your Android smartphone into a smart speaker that could have AI conversations with you. The Pixel 3 XL has also reportedly been sighted in the wild in recent days, as a new leak suggests that Google has taken a lot of cues from Apple and its iPhone X for the upcoming phone's design.
The new images show that the white version of the Google Pixel 3 XL will feature a black front panel with a tall display, as well as a visible notch at the top and large chinned bottom. According to the leaker, the notch on the Pixel 3 XL is the size of 2 status bars. The way that most customers would not be keen on an unadulterated physical dock even with Assistant capacities, the nearness of remote charging ability is likely.
With the help of similar leaked pictures and reports, a few other details have been acquired about the phone in the past. Worth stressing in the middle is that the user with the leaked unit says that it does not boot as it is being remotely erased by Google.
While many manufacturers have been embracing wireless charging recently, Google hasn't been one of them.
