With its 71 million active subscribers, Spotify could be a lucrative match for Hulu's 14 million subs and could be a quick way to grow, if even just a small portion of the Spotify crowd takes the bait.
Spotify offered a similar bundle deal with Hulu to students previous year for $4.99-per-month, but is now expanding the package to its subscribers (and subsequently to its potential subscriber) in the US.
This isn't the first time Hulu and Spotify have worked together, as they launched a combined subscription for college students in September 2017.
