Eager young egg hunters took to yards and gymnasiums around the North Country Saturday for local Easter egg hunts. She handed out coupons for eight girls' and eight boys' bikes, for children of varied ages, and instructed firefighters to hand them out to children at random.
"Some of them are in wheelchairs, some of them can't be very mobile", Dan Cox with Krewe of St. Andrews said.
Over the weekend many families attended several Easter egg hunts all throughout the Bay Area. His son, 16-month-old Dashiell Maranville, was born with two congenital heart defects.
"There were 168 prizes in addition to the raffle, and I know that not every kid got one".
Out on the coast, hundreds filled the grass at Bastendorff Beach Park for the Charleston Fishing Families community egg hunt. "It's all about bringing joy to the community, bringing joy for the children", she said.
"I am so amazed with the Krewe of St. Andrews".
Workforce, which has an office in Foregate Street, also has a recruitment centre in Dudley, Rugby, Coventry, Solihull and Birmingham, who collected Easter eggs for their hospitals.

Park and Rec Program Supervisor Joey Schugel said the egg hunt was an old tradition, but in recent years the event was held at the Civic Center instead of German Park due to weather concerns.
According to Huffman, the Elks have been holding Easter egg hunt's at Mingus Park for around 15 years now.
The Easter egg hunt ran in conjunction with the Bunny Hop 5K Fun Run earlier in the morning across UTPB's campus.
Kids take off running to gather as much candy as they can and then eat it.
"I liked making the eggs".
Tanguay said he loved that the community was able to put on events like this.
"It was nice to have a place for the kids to go", added Anna Currin, Jessica's mother, there too with her daughter and grandchildren.
