China's Lunar New Year television extravaganza, watched by hundreds of millions, was hit by online accusations of racism Friday over a sketch in which a Chinese actor appeared made up as an African woman, with large fake buttocks. Known as "chunyun", the annual new year migration in China also easily surpasses the world's biggest pilgrimages in scale with Arba'een and the Hajj not even coming close.

The Lunar New Year doesn't fall on the same day each year, instead it follows a lunar calendar.
