There are the forces loyal to Bashar Assad, militants controlled by Iran including those from Hezbollah, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) supported by Turkey, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) which includes the US -backed People's Protection Units (YPG), Daesh - which nobody knows who is behind - and the Nusra Front, which benefits from the support of various players who change frequently.
Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman warned on Tuesday that Tel Aviv will react to any "provocation" in the north, just few days after Syria downed an Israeli F16 fighter jet which was carrying air strikes in the Arab country.
Israeli F-16 fighter jet crashes under Syrian anti-aircraft fire. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) responded by engaging twelve targets, including three aerial defense batteries and four Iranian military targets, all of which were located in Syria. On the same day the Israeli F-16 went down, Syrian Kurdish fighters reportedly brought down a Turkish military helicopter that was part of Turkey's invasion of northern Syria.
He added, "This event is the first of its kind in tens of years".
According to Israel, the drone is a reverse-engineered copy of the stealthy U.S. RQ-170 Sentinel UAV lost over Iran in 2011.
Iranian media close to the leadership in Tehran has focused on the shooting down of the Israeli warplane by Syrian air defences, with one paper declaring it "the end of secure skies for the Zionist regime in Syria". An Israeli general later said he expected more direct fighting with Iran. The Lebanese militant group and its backers in Tehran do not recognize the Jewish state and have sworn its destruction. Anyone with a weapon appears to be invited to a horrific conflict that has seen Syrians bombed by almost a dozen different countries - the U.S. military alliance in the east of the country includes Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, France has bombed targets in the country, Russia's air force is in constant action, Turkey has invaded the north, while Israel bombs at will - as well as their own government.
Soon after the drone entered their airspace, it was shot down by the Israeli Air Force. As well, if Turkey engages in battles against the Syrian regime's allies or insists to pursue Kurds who are allied with the U.S., he thinks it will be in danger.
"We take the threats to Israel seriously and we take a view that Israel has every right to defend itself from those threats". In brief, the risk of having a classical inter-state war between Israel and Iran is now higher than ever. This continued in the jump until a couple of US diplomats cited Israel's right to defend itself, and then blamed Iran.
Israel is gearing up for war against its biggest rival Iran, which has used the Syrian civil war to extend its power in the region. "The U.S. should have made it clear that any agreement in Syria include the evacuation of non-Syrian forces". Both Turkey and Iran are anxious due to their Kurdish minorities, which have argued for independence in decades past. For Israel, Iran's proximity to the Golan and its presence, along with its Hizbollah proxy, in southern Syria will not be tolerated no matter the cost. Moscow has no interest in a full-scale confrontation between Syria, Iran, and Israel, as such a conflict would endanger recent achievements in Syria.
"By Allah's favor and grace, nothing called the Zionist regime will exist by 25 years from now". However, the Russian propaganda machine reminds anyone who reads, listens or views that the U.S.is an occupying force in Syria. Now the Syrian regime is dependent on Iran for its survival.
This marks the first such instance for Israel since 1982 during the first Lebanon war.
