Moon responded to the invitation by suggesting the two countries "should accomplish this by creating the right conditions", adding that talks between North Korea and the United States were also needed, and requested that North Korea be more active in talking with the US, according to Kim Eui-kyeom.
"It is absolutely necessary for the North and the United States to engage in talks at an early date", he cited Moon as saying.
Dialogue with the U.S..
Kim Jong Un wanted to meet Moon "in the near future" and would like for him to visit North Korea "at his earliest convenience", his sister told Moon, who had said "let's create the environment for that to be able to happen", Blue House spokesman Kim Eui-kyeom told a news briefing.
Mr Nam is leading the North Korean delegation, which Ms Kim is technically just a member of.
The sheet included word comparisons for commonly used goods and services, a hotel official said.
Other protestors held signs referring to Kim Jong-Un as "mad little rocket man", according to RT. The overture follows heightened tensions over the North's missile tests.
