Campbell is considered the No. 2 cornerback in the country, only second to his teammate Patrick Surtain Jr.
Georgia signed the consensus No. 1 class in the country, followed by Ohio State and Texas. The other two secondary commits from Miami are Divaad Wilson (Northwestern) and Nadab Joseph (Miami Norland). Latavious Brini, who redshirted after signing with Georgia in the recruiting class of 2017, is also a Miami-area product. With Malkom Parrish and Aaron Davis exhausting their eligibility, Georgia will have some options as to how it wants to fill it. Tackle Cade Mays, defensive end Brenton Cox, guard Trey Hill, guard Jamaree Salyer, cornerback Tyson Campbell, linebacker Adam Anderson, running back James Cook and tight end Luke Ford join Walker as top-three overall players at their position.
The Bulldogs had already signed 10 top-100 players entering Wednesday, including six five-star recruits.
The state of Florida could help deliver drama Wednesday with four recruits being some of the biggest prizes available.
