They aren't the first non-DC or NetherRealm characters included as DLC for the game either. Interestingly, all four of the heroes in a half shell will join the Injustice 2 roster, which will have cool gameplay implications.
NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer for Injustice 2 looking at Fighter Pack 3.

Injustice 2 will be coming to PC (Steam and the Microsoft Store) on November 14, with all previously-released DLC for console available for purchase.
Injustice 2 continues the epic cinematic story introduced in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman's regime. The fighting game is also finally heading for PC next week, and hopefully, the new characters won't be delayed on the platform.
