Francia Raisa, Selena Gomez's best friend who donated a kidney to the singer, is hitting the gym again after the kidney transplant. As Selena shares her recovery with the public, her mother Mandy Teefey expressed gratitude to Raisa and Gomez's supportive fans her own Instagram post.
Selena, 25, revealed recently that she had undergone a kidney transplant due to complications from lupus, and shared a picture of herself and Raisa holding hands in hospital beds. At the time, she confirmed the information with an Instagram photo of herself and Raisa in the hospital together.

In return Francia, who is now filming new Black-ish spin-off series Grown-ish, posted the same picture with the caption: 'I am beyond grateful that God would trust me with something that not only saved a life, but changed mine in the process.
