Gionee X1 will run Android Nougat version 7.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
The Gionee X1 comes with an intuitive biometric sensor; however, it only serves to unlock the device as well as capture selfies conveniently, and can not be used for security and privacy protection purposes. The phone will be available in Gold and Black color variants.

We are not so sure the Gionee X1 may make it past Nougat. The Gionee X1 has a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720, resulting in a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch, and a 3,000mAh battery. It says the phone "last all day of usage". The capacitive navigation buttons are placed on the front, and the fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear. The phone also includes accelerometer, light sensor, gyroscope, gravity and proximity sensors.
Another China-based smartphone maker, Gionee has announced an entry-level smartphone in India. The X1 has an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash that sits above a fingerprint scanner. Customers can buy the Gionee X1 via offline retailers. The front camera is another 8MP camera too with its own flash. The combination of Android and Amigo brings several features onboard like - quick switch between apps, multi-window viewing, and a few more.
It comes with an internal memory of 16 GB along with 2 GB RAM. "We are confident that the new line of products which we plan to launch soon will not only impress our customers in terms of the prices but also with their striking features and premium quality". For new or existing Airtel subscribers, it offers up to 10 GB additional data for up to 6 successive recharges. Similarly the company has also tied up with PayTM to offer two Rs 250 cashback vouchers on every purchase of Rs 350 on PayTM Mall.
