Revealed during the "Pre" Sony Press Conference was a new service that probably needed the most explaining of all the things Sony revealed. According to Sony, PlayLink recognises gestures likes taps, swipes, pinches, drags, tilts, and rotation, and you can even take selfies or doodle, depending on the game.
While you can play the title solo, the game supports PlayLink, which allows you to play the game with your smartphone, where you can receive particular hidden objectives, also known as hidden agendas. That's You is a quiz game created by Wish Studios and will require you to connect your mobile phones using PlayLink.
Under the umbrella PlayLink, these games are played on the PlayStation 4 console, but controlled via an iOS or Android smartphone rather than the DualShock controller. "No matter which title you choose from our PlayLink collection, it's guaranteed to be a slick pick-up-and-play experience", Sony said during the official announcement. Each player will theoretically be working together, but there will be several points in the story where one will be required to make a choice that could affect the entire group. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage on the game, as well as for more coverage, updates, news, and information from E3 this year. Other upcoming PlayLink titles include a party game called That's You and a new entry in the popular Singstar karaoke series.
Hidden Agenda is scheduled to release sometime in 2017 exclusively for the PS4. Hidden Agenda will use a new feature called "Playlink" that is exclusive to the PlayStation 4.
